The observant amongst you may have noticed that we’ve been out of stock of GLOOP for a while now. I’m sorry about that. After Lesja Music’s excellent video on GLOOP we had a bit of a glut of orders and it cleared us out. I’ve had a list of small amendments I’ve wanted to make to the PCB, which took a bit longer than expected (like absolutely everything to do with developing modules it seems). I’ve moved to a 4 layer PCB board with dedicated ground planes for lower noise and improved signal integrity. Also added improved power filtering, and discrete test points, which will help those doing DIY builds.
Anyway the revisions are made, and everything is working, so just need to do a bit more soak testing and then order the boards (and assemble, and test and calibrate them). Hopefully we’ll have new GLOOPs ready next month.
Lesja Music’s excellent overview of GLOOP for those who haven’t seen it yet.
